General Adult Psychiatrist and member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists with a specialist interest in women’s mental health. She supports patients with a range of mental health conditions and has additional training in obstetrics, gynaecology, and yoga.
About Dr Megan Stevens
Dr Stevens is a registered and practicing specialty Psychiatrist (General Adult). Dr Stevens completed her medical degree at Southampton University graduating in 2015. She went on to train for 2 years in the West Midlands in Obstetrics and Gynaecology where she completed the Part A Membership Examination of The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Following this, she continued to train medically in the field of Psychiatry where she is currently a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and also works in the NHS supporting men and women with a wide a range of mild to severe mental health disorders.
Dr Stevens has a specialist interest in women’s mental health conditions and takes a strong interest in managing mood fluctuations, menopausal symptoms, PMS, anxiety and depressive disorders and stress reduction. Dr Stevens completed her Yoga teacher training in London and is and is accredited with Yoga Alliance. She has worked with NHS staff during the Covid pandemic to reduce stress and has supported many women during their pregnancy and on their journey to try and conceive.
