Dr Ahmed Abdelhamid

I’m a consultant general adult psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience in psychiatry. I offer assessments and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and personality difficulties. I have particular clinical expertise in working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with autism and ADHD, as well as patients facing challenges related to substance misuse and eating disorders.

Alongside my clinical work, I’m an active academic and researcher, with multiple national and international awards recognising my contributions to medical education, research, and civic engagement. My approach is thoughtful, compassionate, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.
